Past Litters

Note at this time we do not have any planned havanese litters

Smuckers

Smuckers was my pride and joy, and I anxiously awaited her first litter. I bred her to CH Forsgate’s Pandemonium of LP, “Chaos.” We were hoping for some chocolates, but we were not blessed with any. She had three males and three females which was a large litter given her size. I kept a black parti to show, Dottie, and one other female went to a show home. Keto finished her championship unlike Dottie. I bred Smuckers to CH Los Perritos Wee Pantaloons, “Pan,” the #1 Havanese at the time. Smuckers and Pan had three puppies, and they all were shown. Two of the three reached their championships. Smuckers was a good mom, but was unable to conceive again. I “specialed” her and later retired her.

Oreo

Not only was Oreo my first Havanese, but she was the first dog I bred as well. Since she whelped my very first litter, I didn’t realize how wonderful of a mom she really was. She had three males and two females in her first litter. I kept “Smuckers” a black parti who became my first Bred-by Champion. The owner of the sire kept a black Irish pied male puppy from the litter which she showed and later bred. The remaining puppies were adopted to loving homes out of state. In her second litter, she whelped six puppies- three males and three females. I kept cream female from this litter to show, but she did not enjoy the ring and went to live with my in-laws. However, two other puppies from this litter were shown. Each of Oreo’s litters were bigger than the one before. Because of the size of her third litter, seven puppies were delivered by C-section. This time, I kept a sable parti male, who we call “Gizmo.” All of the remaining puppies from this litter went to pet homes.

Libby

Libby was adopted, because her pedigree aligned perfectly with my male, Gizmo. However, Libby’s time in the whelping box was short-lived. She only had one litter which consisted of two puppies. Since I co-owed Libby, her breeder adopted the male, and I kept the female, Izzy. Izzy was later adopted by a family member and is top dog in their household.
